Sustainable facility management includes maintenance, cleaning/housekeeping, engineering, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), utility usage management, budgets, security, crisis management/emergency management, and production. This course covers the general systems and processes related to the planning, programming, design, construction, and occupancy of facilities, including long-range, strategic and tactical planning, the relationship between facility planning and business planning, organization of sites, and buildings.
