This course will provide students with an understanding of the exciting, yet complex world of Digital Marketing Communications. The material presented and used in the course, as well as projects carried out by students, will enable them to work more effectively in the ever-changing environment of DMC. During the course students will –
- Gain literacy in the key terms, concepts and methods used in DMC
- Identify the elements of online advertising and email marketing
- Learn methods of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Explore program effectiveness using Web Analytics tools
- Understand the impact of mobile device communications (smartphones and tablets)
- Learn how to apply DMC through social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, just to name a few.
- Learn how DMC is being used by both large and small companies and organizations
