Students learn and apply skills in anatomical orientation and positioning, universal precautions, assistive technology and adapted equipment for recreation including manual, power, sports, and all-terrain wheelchairs, wheelchair mobility skills, proper body mechanics, transfer and lifting techniques, ambulation assists, and sighted guide techniques.
