Tom Stoppard’s 1993 play Arcadia is universally acknowledged to be one of the greatest works of modern theater. The play comprehends chaos theory, higher mathematics, landscape architecture, romantic poetry, and a great deal of illicit sex (offstage). Guided by the play, students will read, write, and think across all the fields Arcadia engages. This course counts as an Interdisciplinary Honors Experience or 2 Honors Units.
