In this course, students will learn how to approach data analysis acquired from biological experiments. Data input/manipulation, descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, curve fitting will be covered via computer software programs such as Matlab and JMP. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to utilize Matlab and JMP to conduct biological data analysis experiments. This course has a strong emphasis on hands-on learning JMP and coding in Matlab.
