The course combines an online academic class with on-site experiential learning though a fourteen day trip to Cuba. Course description: Participants will explore connections between geometry and algebra through investigations of the Pythagorean Theorem and related results.  They will work on concrete problems that encourage them to search for patterns and to create and confirm/disprove conjectures about more general situations.
