“Feminist Geographies of Care Work and Praxis” will facilitate the study women of color feminist theories and methodologies of care work as praxis toward liberatory and just futures at the intersection of health, environment, and gender justice. Together, we will consider: What kind of care practices can be engaged toward more just geographies in the everyday? The final project will culminate in a collaborative zine and individual final papers, with the option to co-write an article manuscript for peer-review post-class. This class is designed with the hope and goal for students to think critically about care labor as an actionable politics they can and do engage in their everyday lives.
