Theory course focuses on concepts of human pathophysiology and pharmacology relevant to professional nursing practice. Physiologic response and manifestations of alterations in normal body functioning are analyzed. Pharmacological agents used for these alterations are examined. Application of concepts across the lifespan are incorporated through the discussion of pathophysiology and pharmacology. Provides the foundation for the clinical decision-making and management of care.
