Advanced concepts will be explored for mounting and dismounting participants with a higher degree of disability as well as teaching techniques for riders with less mobility and / or significant behaviors. Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared to sit for the national Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) exam at an additional cost paid to the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH International). Course is not offered every year. Prereq: ANSC 643.
