Additional Course Description: 

This course explores non-traditional investments, such as hedge funds, private equity and venture capital, real estate, commodities, and currency.  Particular emphasis will be placed on private equity and venture capital.  Topics include an overview of the private equity and venture capital markets, risk and returns to the different asset classes, and investment selection.  Students will also evaluate business plans, funds, and fund managers.
