Musicianship skills include melodic and rhythmic sight reading, harmony reading and singing, basic piano skills, as well as key signature and interval recognition. Beginning vocal techniques include breath management, strengthening vocal fold closure, releasing tension and creating space in the acoustic chamber (throat and mouth).
