Students will learn to design science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) curricula with a focus on the field of biofabrication. Course content includes writing lesson plans to align with an overall curriculum and the national standards for education, creating and delivering engaging presentations to a variety of youth from grades K-12, and engaging with the public. This seminar includes contact hours with K-12 students through the STEM Mobile Biofabrication Integrated Lab Experience (STEM-MoBILE); as part of earned credit hours, students are expected to attend events where they will share information about the field of biofabrication with the public and give presentations at schools in New Hampshire as events are scheduled.
