If you are interested in the design and operation of recreation venues - this is the course for you! Back by popular demand, RMP 670 explores a wide array of recreation venues including, but not limited to: ski resorts, state parks, ropes courses, wineries, arenas, stadiums, aquatic facilities, campgrounds, actions sports venues, and more! ​

*This course operates on a Tues/Thurs lab format. Tuesdays take place in the classroom here students will learn about a different recreation venue each week. Thursdays consist of on-site and immersive venue tours with venue managers. ​

If you are interested in the management of parks and protected areas- this is the course for you! RMP 711/811 explores the social science behind outdoor recreation and parks and protected areas management within the United States. This course will focus on state and federal land management agencies such as NH State Parks, the National Park Service, USDA Forest Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, and more! ​

This course will provide students state-of-the-art social science tools, competencies, and knowledge surrounding outdoor recreation resource management.​
