Course Overview: This course in health economics covers the seminal theoretical papers on the demand for health and healthcare, provider supply of healthcare services, and health insurance markets. Each class session is generally devoted to discussing one specific paper in depth. Student grades are determined by taking three exams, preparing an original model, and actively participating in the in-class discussions.
