All students registered as ECE 992 will be responsible for the same material required of ECE 896 and will furthermore be required to provide a 25-minute oral presentation and 8-page IEEE formatted report that includes new results and/or analysis of a project that will be agreed upon with the professor.

Title: Stochastic Processes, Detection, Estimation, and Noise

 

This course includes a review of probability theory, an introduction to advanced concepts in random processes, and the fundamentals of estimation and detection for signal processing, controls, and communications. This course is intended for students that wish to learn about and/or include simulations and noise analysis in their research.
