Additional Course Details: 

Global Supply Chain Management is an elective course offered by the Decision Sciences Department at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.  In this course - students will explore various aspects of today’s global supply chains as we cover five integrated learning modules:

  1. Networks, Technology & People
  2. Supply & Demand Planning
  3. Sourcing & Supplier Management
  4. Operations & Logistics
  5. Margin Optimization & Customer Management

In each module students will explore current events happening in the supply chain space, apply quantitative analysis tools, gain insights from guest speakers,  work on case studies, and research supply chain issues.  Throughout the course we will view supply chains from a global / international perspective as we develop sustainable supply chain strategies.

The Mel Rines Student Angel Investment Fund is a cross-disciplinary, undergraduate, student-managed private equity fund. The Fund allows students to learn angel and venture capital investment strategies through the first-hand experience of investing in start-up companies. Students evaluate entrepreneur pitches, conduct due diligence on potential investments, work with angel partners, and present to an investment committee their recommendations to invest capital. Students interested in joining the Fund must submit an application and undergo an interview process. Students in good standing may retake the course.
