Introduction to Ableton Live provides an understanding of the Ableton Digital Audio Workstation, its capabilities, and a practical approach to composition, arranging, and live performance using its powerful tools. The course will cover recording and manipulating audio using Ableton's revolutionary warping engine. Midi programming and mapping in the Ableton environment. Use of built in effects and automation. We will also cover composition using the session and arrangement views uncovering clever ways of using Ableton in traditional studio or live performance settings.
