Students undertake an advanced exploration of bacteriophage biology through genetic and biochemical investigation of previously-discovered bacterial viruses.  The function of unknown phage genes will be explored through a variety of techniques in this lab-based course.

This course covers the principles and mechanisms of disease at the cellular, tissue, organ, and system levels, including responses to cell injury, death and adaptation, and inflammation.
