Additional Course Details: 

This course provides an introduction to computer vision including fundamentals of image formation, camera imaging geometry, feature detection and matching, stereo, motion estimation and tracking, image classification and scene understanding.  Both low-level signal processing and classical machine learning and deep learning to approach these addressing computer vision tasks. The focus of the course is to develop the intuitions and mathematics of the methods in lecture, and then to learn about the difference between theory and practice in the projects. The only prerequisite is a knowledge of a programming language. All other needed skills will be taught in class. The course culminates in a project where the student applies the course content to an actual computer vision task.
