This laboratory course is an introduction to synthetic methods in inorganic chemistry and the study of the elements across the periodic table. This course will emphasize the use of spectroscopic and analytical techniques specifically aimed at characterizing and identifying inorganic compounds, such as multi-nuclear NMR, UV\Vis, IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and mass spectrometry.
