This course is designed to introduce students to a broad range of marketing demand applications and digital marketing concepts. The goal is to provide you with hands-on learning opportunities that allow you to apply these concepts to real-world marketing problems. Throughout this course, you will acquire knowledge throughout a range of marketing and data management tools that will allow you to understand how to effectively segment and market to consumers throughout the sales pipeline. These tools include well-known platforms in sales and marketing technology, including Salesforce, HubSpot, and Google Analytics. Throughout the course, you will complete formal training in these platforms and earn resume building credentials to set you up for success in your future marketing career. You will also work both as individual contributors and as a part of a team to reflect the type of experience you will see in marketing-related professions. Supervised internship practicum within the private, public or non-profit sector. Focus is for the student to gain valuable insights into both professional and managerial positions, applying their college knowledge to a variety of roles and projects, influencing their career trajectory through 'real world' experience. Can be taken multiple times for credit, with credit varying from 1-4 hours based on time spent on the internship. For the 16 credit concentration, up to 4 BUS 690 credits can be applied.
