Supervised experience working in social, legal, and marketplace settings that offer services to families. Students spend a minimum of 15 hours per week in a selected community program. Admission by application only. Applications due prior to registration spring semester of the junior year. A senior-level course with 6 credits being taken each semester. Prereq: HDFS major; senior status; HDFS 525; HDFS 545; 20 credit hours of family studies course work; permission. Pre- or Coreq: HDFS 760. IA (continuous grading). Cr/F.
