This course will provide you with an overview of the personal financial planning process, including the establishment of goals and objectives, forecasting of lifetime income and expenditures, evaluation of investment options, money management, and understanding many ways a person can achieve their financial goals through various financial strategies.  Basically, Life 101.  This course covers the concepts, theories and analytical methods used in daily practice managing your personal finances.  You will analyze the effects of inflation, changing interest rates and taxation (high level taxation) on your personal investment decisions.  The course is designed to expose you to all of the directly applicable mathematical formulas involved in the finance world that you utilize on a daily basis – and likely do not even know it!
