A key piece of modern software engineering are the data engineering core concepts, practices, and tools required to provide data scientists and computing professionals with a platform for their needs. This course gives relevant experience in bridging the gap between development, production, and operations management. It also give practice with cloud computing platforms.  Students will be part of a team, actively developing “glue code” to provision and orchestrate a Google Cloud Platform sandbox, as well as an Amazon Web Services sandbox for data scientist activities.
