This course is designed to increase student awareness of DeafBlind people, their community, and the variety of individuals that live in that community.  Various resources, techniques, and strategies will be shared about communication options and how to provide service that is most suitable for individual DeafBlind people.  Students will also learn how to interact with DeafBlind people respectfully, ethically, and professionally; gaining competence in flexibility and responsiveness.
