Theory and research on social, cultural, and development issues of early childhood will be the focus, with a particular emphasis on ecological and social constructivist frameworks. Course Overview: This online course provides an overview of the U.S. healthcare system. Students will learn about private and public health insurance, key issues facing healthcare providers, and how public policy affects the healthcare system. The course material is presented in a series of recorded video lectures supplemented by four live Zoom sessions. Four short-answer quizzes and four short policy memos assess student understanding of the material.
