This course assists aspiring entrepreneurs in the startup settings with understanding the content, methods, and models for new venture opportunity identification, analysis, and assessment. Students learn how to identify and analyze entrepreneurial opportunities using entrepreneurship and strategy concepts through the Opportunity Analysis Canvas process model (OAC) The Opportunity Analysis Canvas process distills vast amounts of research in psychology, sociology, business, strategy, economics, and other disciplines into a practical how to guide for aspiring and active entrepreneurs. At its core, The Opportunity Analysis Canvas contains a powerful argument that anyone can be a successful entrepreneur by thoughtfully examining their entrepreneurial mindset and new venture opportunities. By harnessing these insights, individuals can transform their ideas into ventures that are lasting successes.
