This competition is of interest to students involved in Health Law and those enrolled in the Certificate in Health Law and Policy. This competition takes place in the fall and is transactional in nature. Southern Illinois University School of Law, along with supporting sponsors the Department of Medical Humanities at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, the American College of Legal Medicine, and the American College of Legal Medicine Foundation has been sponsoring the National Health Law Moot Court Competition. This competition serves to develop the art of appellate advocacy and to encourage research in the growing field of health law and ethics. Prereq: Legal Analysis and Writing I & II.
