Like an artist’s paintbrush, the computer can be a creative tool in the writing process. Exploring methods, forms, and functions of works of both print and digital nonfiction will provide students with context and the foundational skills to express themselves through multimedia writing projects such as video, Google Maps, and the web. Writers will become composers, telling their stories with digital media.  

This Writing for Digital Media section aims to introduce the genre of creative nonfiction while also encouraging you, as writers, to think outside the box and consider new forms of writing, both through the course readings and your own writing.
