Fall 2021 Special Topic: Special Studies in Creative Writing, Cases of Useful Reading

This section will focus on a diverse selection of contemporary poetry books and some of the immediate and/or classic forerunners behind them for poets and writers to explore as potential influences for their own practice.  We will be working with with the processes of reading and writing to create portfolios of engaged investigations into craft, with at least biweekly creative writing assignments as well as practice writing brief book reviews.
