Spanish-speaking civilizations have actively contributed to forged our Modern World. Current trends, needs, and situation of Hispanic migrants compound a critical topic in politics (locally and internationally). Increasingly, their cultural, economic, and social impacts are enormous. Through an array of cultural productions (chiefly literature, movies, documentaries, artistic performances and artworks), this course will examine how Hispanic migrations have been represented while inquiring for the situation of their most vulnerable members.
