Applications include, statistical decision theory, artificial intelligence, auctions, pricing, bargaining, etc. The focus of this course is on business strategy. Students formalize strategic situations as well-defined games, analyze and solve a wide variety of games and business applications, and develop optimal auctions given specific corporate requirements. On-line auctions will be emphasized. Prereq: Intermediate Microeconomics, Statistics.
