In-depth study of the theory and practice of stage direction for the advanced student. Builds on 741, Directing. Students strengthen and expand their existing knowledge of the subject area. Exploration focuses on three areas of directorial communication: application to periods and styles, exploration of avant-garde theory, and directorial technique.
