DESIGN YOUR OWN INTERNATIONAL SERVICE PROJECT 

Design a real-world service project in partnership with communities around the globe! In this 2-credit Honors Course, you’ll turn something you care about into a thoughtful, actionable plan, while building the skills to work across cultures with humility and impact. This is a project design course (no travel required), with optional opportunities to apply for funding to implement your project internationally.

What if your college experience didn’t just prepare you for the world… 
but helped you actively shape it? This Honors course gives you the opportunity to design a meaningful international service project in partnership with communities and organizations around the world. 

 What You’ll Do 

  • Identify a real-world challenge you care about 

  • Collaborate with an international partner organization 

  • Design a project grounded in community needs 

  • Develop a pathway to bring your project to life 

 Important to Know 

This is a project design course—not a travel course
Students who wish to take their project further will have the opportunity to apply for funding to implement it internationally, but travel is not required and not part of the course itself

 A Different Approach to Global Work 

This course challenges you to move beyond surface-level approaches and instead engage with global work in a thoughtful, responsible way. 

You’ll learn how to:
