Additional Course Details:
This course explores sociological principles of crime and religion and examines empirical research on the topic. We will consider how religion influences people’s decisions to engage in crime, how they understand crime in a social/cultural context, and how it shapes their responses to crime. Students will have opportunities to hone their skills as researchers through projects, hands-on activities, and interactive assignments.
