Peoples and Cultures of the World: Africa

This special Honors version of this course will explore African and African Diaspora communities, past to present, with emphases on colonial and postcolonial eras, enslavement and racialization, identity and community formation, and cultural expression. A major course outcome includes a group project to curate an exhibition for the Seacoast African American Cultural Center.
