This course investigates the physical and biogeochemical processes that determine the composition of seawater. Topics include biological effects on chemistry, ocean nutrient cycles, air-sea gas exchange, radiogenic and stable isotopes as tracers of ocean processes, sediment and tace-metal chemistry.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 426 and (CHEM 404 or CHEM 405)
