Section Comments: The course title is: Advanced Methods in Numerical PDE Solution. 3 crs. Contact Prof. Mark Lyon for more info about this course. Prerequisites: Students should have completed significant coursework covering numerical methods for ODEs or PDEs (such as MATH 853 or IAM 962) and be competent in programming in a language such as Python, Julia, C, C++, Fortran, or MATLAB. The course will be scheduled to fit in with the schedules of the interested students.
