Particle Physics

This Special Topic course will cover Particle Physics, including historical and recent advances in the field. This includes the theoretical and experimental background of the Standard Model including QED and QCD, an overview of particle detection and analysis, and if time allows, a brief introduction to current research areas in particle physics such as searches for dark matter and dark forces, neutrinoless double beta decay, and others.
