Special Focus: Latin American Women in Literature, Music, Art, Politics & Film This course will explore how women have represented themselves and their communities in their creative work, and how they have participated in political and social movements in Latin America. The course will cover a wide range of topics, including: The history of women in Latin America, from pre-Columbian times to the present day The representation of women in Latin American literature, art, film, and music The role of women in Latin American politics and social movements The challenges and opportunities faced by women in Latin America today
