Topics include floating body, fixed body and moored line hydrostatics; wave forces on small and large bodies; dynamic response of floating bodies; and pile and gravity foundation geotechnics. Requires knowledge of mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, differential equations, and ocean waves and tides.
