The Clinic class is the lecture component of the Clinic experience, and registration for the combination of this Class and the Clinic is required for first-term IP Clinic students. The class will cover lawyering skills, ethics, IP-related skills. Eligibility: Open to all except 1Ls. Prerequisites: None; however if enrollment exceeds the 8 student maximum, the criteria for selection of the 8 students guaranteed enrollment is (1) preference given to students
who have no other opportunity to take the Clinic (such as 3Ls and graduate students), and (2) preference for students with prior relevant courses (such as Fun, IP, Trademarks, Copyrights, Federal Trademark Registration Practice, and/or Business Associations) or prior relevant life experience (email resume to professor). Course format lecture. Grading: other (see syllabus).100%. This course cannot be taken for an S/U grade. Open to graduate, residential JD, and hybrid students.
