The second theoretical course for the preparation of the adult-gerontological acute care nurse practitioner. Clinical knowledge will focus upon cardiovascular and cardiothoracic diagnoses, diagnostics, and therapeutics in the adult and older adult. Course will also explore palliative care, end of life, and pronouncement. This course is to be taken in tandem with a AGACNP Clinical Practicum (I-IV). Prereq: NURS 850 with minimum grade of B.
