Students represent real clients in IP prosecution, litigation, and transactional matters in their 6 office hours/week schedule (8.5 in summer) under professor supervision. Clients include artists, businesses, and non-profits. Concurrent registration in the Intellectual Property & Transaction Class (LCL 935) is required. Eligibility: Open to all except 1Ls. Prerequisites: None: however, if enrollment exceeds the 8 student maximum, the criteria for the selection of the 8 students guaranteed enrollment is (1) preference given to students who have no other opportunity to take the Clinic (such as 3Ls and graduate students), and (2) preference for students with prior relevant courses (such as Fun, IP, Trademarks, Copyrights, Federal Trademark Registration Practice, and Business Associations) or prior relevant life experience (email resume to professor).
