Exploration of mathematical topics beyond the student's previous coursework in the seminar format. The course focus is on independent research, collaborative work and classroom engagement; oral presentations and written work are required. Prereq: senior standing.

Additional Course Details:
This is a one semester capstone experience. Students will work either individually or in teams to carry out an independent research project resulting in a written report and presentation to the department. The course will focus on independent research, industry standards and best practices, and oral and written skills.
