Additional Course Details:

This course introduces students to key principles and practices in legal writing and research, including the case method, legal reasoning and analysis, Bluebook citation, and an understanding of the structure of our state and federal justice systems. A core course within the UNH Manchester Legal Advocacy minor and a second-stage elective in the UNH Manchester Professional and Technical Communications major, this class is open to all students, whether majors or non-majors, without prerequisite. It is equally geared toward students seriously considering law school and those simply seeking a broader understanding of how jurisprudence and legal process inform professional communications in the law.
