Geotechnical testing methods include the piezocone, the pressuremeter, the flat plate dilatometer, the field vane, and the standard penetration test. Includes sampling techniques, geophysical exploration, and recent innovations in site and soil characterization. Prereq: CEE 965 or equivalent.
