Economics provides a foundation for understanding decision making under conditions of certainty and uncertainty.  The current generation of Artificial Intelligence is used to reduce uncertainty through improved prediction in order to aid in making decisions.  AI is a general-purpose technology that will impact all aspects of business and society. This class develops the economics necessary to increase understanding of how AI will impact your career path, business strategy, and society generally.    Economic theory provides the tools necessary to understand AI’s impact and to develop strategies to optimally respond to the inevitable changes brought by such a general-purpose technology.  No programing knowledge is required for this course.
