This course will introduce students to training in traditional Asian Martial Arts. We will discuss and practice technical aspects taken from Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, and Aikido. Students will leave the course with an understanding of difference between the main styles of Martial Arts, working knowledge of basic Martial Arts techniques, the philosophical and spiritual aspect of traditional Martial Arts training, and the benefit of training both to the individual and to society as a whole.
