Additional Course Details:

This course is designed to familiarize you with the vast field of abnormal psychology. Because this is an introductory-level course, you will find that we will cover a lot of topics this semester. Topics will include clinical assessment and diagnosis, problems of stress and anxiety, problems of mood, problems of mind and body, psychotic disorders, and life-span problems. Online content, lecture, videos, and case studies will complement your textbook readings and in-class experience.

The text for this course is: Comer, R. J. (2018). Abnormal Psychology (10th Edition). New York, NY: Worth. You may choose the option that works best for you. Option 1 is available via the website listed below. Options 2 and 3 are available at the bookstore for your convenience. I do NOT recommend purchasing the book and access card separately, as this often leads students to spending more than they originally anticipated and sometimes getting the wrong product. OPTION 1 (least expensive): LaunchPad: $93.99 online purchase / $75 current net price to bookstore for access card (ISBN 978-1-319-06723-6) OPTION 2: LaunchPad + loose-leaf text: $90 current net price to bookstore (ISBN 978-1-319-16745-5) OPTION 3: LaunchPad + hardcover text: $191.48 current net price to bookstore (ISBN 978-1-319-17054-7)
